(ENDED) Words Move Me – Sony Reader connects readers around literary moments they love GIVEAWAY
Do words move you?
Do you have defining moments in your life where you can associate a book you read during that time?
Has literature affected your life so drastically that mere words on paper changed you forever?
Whether they have had profound influence or merely provide entertainment to take your mind off real life, books are an important part of our lives.
Personally I have always been someone who likes to read. From historical fiction to true crime and everything in between. I like biographies of interesting people, mystery novels, classic literature and modern day adventure. Sony wants to help raise awareness and encourage renewed interest around books and literature, something that seems to be waning of late. To that end, Sony has created a literature community called Words Move Me to connect readers around the literary movements they love.

Words Move Me is free to use. You create an account and immediately begin publishing YOUR favorite literary moments. Books that have had a lasting affect on your life; quotes and poems that remain in your mind long after you have read them; characters who have traits that you admire. You can also find great NEW books and literature by searching for certain emotions. Looking for a book to inspire you? Motivate you? Scare you?
Below are some of my favorite “words that move me” from some of my favorite books. Sony has created a widget that includes some of my favorite literary moment. The widget is interactive so make sure to click on the sides to see all of MY “Words Move Me” moments that I have submitted so far.

I have a few favorite books, but my top two are these two… “A Great and Terrible Beauty” and “Second Glance”
A great and terrible beauty is the book that I read over and over during high school, it made me feel alive during the darkest moments in my life. It was magical, romantic and intriguing.
Second glance was a book that I will remember for the rest of my life, I have never read a book that was as fast paced as this one that still dug deep into emotion and thoughts. I have reread this book 4 times in the last four months and I am planning on it again soon.
I love reading, and I could talk your ear off on some more books but I think I will leave you at that.
Thanks for this giveaway, I hope I win!!!

My favorite book of all time is Count of Montecristo. It is both sad, tragic and uplifting at the same time. So many ups and downs I am always on the edge of my seat and I have read it many times!
There are many ‘favorite’ books, but A Swiftly Tilting Planet, by Madeleine L’Engle rises to the top for a few reasons.
I read this in 3rd grade and this book ushered me from books being picked for me to seeing books that I would enjoy for myself.
It was an introduction to not only enjoyable fiction, but bigger than life story lines and an introduction to characters and plots that spanned individual books (I was eager to go back and read A Wrinkle in Time and A Wind in the Door).
As a kid I reached from this to a wider range of books I would never have picked up before. As a result, L’Engle made me an avid reader.
Finding a kindred spirit within the pages of a book is so rare these days. Which is why my favorite book ever is Anne of Green Gables. Anne is my kindred spirit- we share red hair, but there is so much more. Our imaginations, our love of romance, our journey to find ourselves in different lands… Anne of Green Gables is my favorite book and my literary BFF.
