Wordless Wednesday – Stray dog

~totally not wordless…

Our next door neighbor seems to have his share of house guests. Friends and family who he helps out by giving them a place to stay for awhile. These people are invariably men and I have come to calling them “stray dogs” because my husband will invite them over for a beer and then they never go away.

The other day, one of the stray dogs was outside in the cold with a big rock and a circular saw and he was cutting into it. I asked him “are you cutting a rock?” And he laughed and said “I’m making a sculpture.” I laughed to myself as I went into the house thinking, “ok, whatever dude.”

I then went to get my camera. Here is what I saw:

I just laughed watching him cut a rock with that saw thinking he was TOTALLY NUTS, not to mention smoking something.

Um, yeah…I was way wrong. My husband took a picture of the finished sculpture. I’ll shut up now.
