Wordless Wednesday – self portrait

I drew this in high school and actually won an award for it. (The angle is weird because the flash kept causing a glare on the glass when I shot it straight on.) We had taken a few pictures of me at different angles, cut them up and pieced them back together. I drew it from that.

About Kim

Kim is a creative person who doesn't sit still for very long. As the mother of two, she calls herself a "recovering former working mom" and left a successful career as an Architect to stay home with her kids. This blog is a reflection of her daily life and her quest to find the answer to "what's that smell?". If blogging doesn't work out for her, she plans on auditioning to become a sports team mascot.

  3. Wow, you are a very talented person! I wish I could draw like that when I was younger. Do you still draw portraits like this?

    I once did a drawing like this and gave it as a gift. That person liked it so much, he even framed it and displayed the drawing in his living room.
