I recently returned from Blogher ’09 in Chicago!
I did not bring my laptop, I did not have a web enabled phone (that I know of) and I did not make it a priority to be on the web all weekend.
I finally met many of the wonderful ladies I have gotten to know in the last year and it was very exciting! I sat back and enjoyed the “real life” versions of my wonderful friends, made a few new ones, and now I’m back. I still need a nap. I spend so much time online, and while this was a blogging conference, I didn’t want to miss it because my head was buried behind the computer. And it was great!
I had three wonderful sponsors that helped support my trip and make it possible for me to attend Blogher. All three have great products, so make sure you check them out! While at Blogher, I handed out samples and coupons for Country Bob’s, I handed out Pokens for PokenZoo and met with Shannan from Protect-A-Bed who was as great in person as she is online.
I’ll be back later this week with more about my experiences and the answer to the inevitable question…”would I do it again?”

It was a whirlwind, definitely! I’m still deciding whether or not I’ll go next year, though NYC is so close.
I missed meeting up with you! I’m not sure how I missed you, but I too was not tweeting the whole time. I left the laptop in the room, and am one of the conference oddballs without an iPhone.
