First off, our internet has been intermittent so my usual posting schedule has been interrupted because the only time I can get online is when I stand on my head on the roof with the laptop balanced on top of my feet. Then I can access the web using the neighbors unsecured network. It’s their fault for not securing it…
I saw the X-Files movie yesterday, woo-hoo! It’s a shame I can’t sit through a whole movie anymore though…I needed 2 potty breaks, sheesh! I loved the movie, but they could have had a whole movie of Mulder and Scully wind sailing and I’d probably enjoy it. I’m a geek.
Why is it that older kids revert to playing with baby toys? Jake is obsessed with some new stacking cups I bought Abby. He keeps taking them and I find him off in a corner playing with them. Ed gave him some plastic cups from the kitchen cabinet and told him to give Abby her toys back and you know what? HE WAS PLAYING WITH THE KITCHEN CUPS! Kids are weird.
What else….
Abby is teething something awful, we better see a tooth here soon!!!!
Well, that’s all for now….my head hurts from standing on it and typing….

Yes you don’t have to buy new toys but unfortunately birthday parties come and they get new toys and when you can never give anything away your house starts to look like a toy store. We have no front room.
We went to the first showing on Sunday and it cost us $7. Usually it is $9.50. I’ll have to try and go. My husband and I deserve a date night. I went with my friend Mrs. Kravitz to the X-Files.
It was 2.5 hours, and I know I got up to use the bathroom a couple times, but it was so worth seeing the movie. we just made sure we went to a before noon movie on Saturday and it was only $5.
I really think you need to check it out :)
Thanks Mary!!!!
Trooper,
We get a lot of screaming!
Oh, and about the X-Files, I’ll never tell!
Thanks for stopping by!
Celeste,
I guess it makes it easier because you don’t have to buy them new toys, but I really enjoy some of the older kid toys and wish he would play with them!
Good & Crazy,
Yep, there is an X-Files movie! There was one a few years back too. I heard good things about Mama Mia.
We had a garage sale a couple of months ago and had the same problem. My son kept digging into the sale box and playing with stuff he had NEVER played with before.
