Virtual Baby Shower – Do I need a theme???

Can I plan this baby shower without really considering a theme? Or does everything from the invitations to the decorations to the wrapping paper and whatever else, need to match?

I am not a “everything needs to match” person and neither is my sister. But I also want to do it right.

Isn’t the fact that it’s a baby shower, enough of a theme?

You are right, the BABY theme is all you need. Bottles, diapers, binkys, pink/blue/green/yellow, tiny things, storks, etc.

  2. Kris J says:

I don’t think you need a theme. If you know the gender, solid color plates would do.

Carol, you cracked me up! I bet sometimes she wishes it was a virtual baby…or will after the baby is born. My sister is expecting and I’m planning the shower here on the blog and have sponsors who are helping plan it and we will be giving away a grand prize worth over $1,000 to another mom-to-be.

  4. I don’t think you need a theme unless you’re going gender-specific. You could stick with certain colors to match your button.

At the risk of exposing my complete and total ignorance….

What’s a virtual baby shower? Is someone expecting a virtual baby?

  6. Nicole says:

I don’t think you need a theme. You have put a lot of thought and effort into putting it together and I think that would be enough
