Thanks for the comment! The little bit of research I did shows it as a safe alternative to BPA and other problematic products. Apparently Santoprene is used in many cooking utensils and is beginning to be used in baby products. I did not do extensive research however.
But what is “Santoprene” and is it safe? Will it be considered safe a few years from now? We used to think plastics were safe and now look at the BPA and phalate uproar. What all is in “Santoprene”?
