The Secret Mountain Books and Music for Children – review and GIVEAWAY

THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED AND COMMENTS ARE NOW CLOSED

Jake loves to read and he also loves music, so when I received 3 books from The Secret Mountain, I knew these were books he would love. We used to have a bedtime ritual where we would read to him but as he has gotten older, and as we added another little person to the bedtime routine, we stopped for some reason. The Secret Mountain Books are great enough to make us start up our routine again!

From the site:

The Secret Mountain is dedicated to the creation of children’s books, videos and audio recordings of the highest quality. Our main focus is to produce and publish stories and music that encompass the talents of songwriters, storytellers, singers, illustrators and animation artists alike.

Duck Sea Dream

We received 3 books, A Duck in New York City, Down at the Sea Hotel and Dream Songs Night Songs from Belgium to Brazil. All 3 books are vibrantly illustrated but in a simple abstract style. The stories are fun and each book has an accompanying CD with songs that complement the book and lyrics are included in the back of each book so you can sing along. I think our favorite has to be the “Slug Opera” song from A Duck in New York City, but they are all wonderful.

Win a book from The Secret Mountain!

We are giving away a copy of Dream Songs Night Songs from Belgium to Brazil to one lucky winner!
