I think one of the best things anyone can do for someone is to empower them to help others. So many of us, especially in a still struggling economy and in light of tragedy across the globe say “if only” when it comes to trying to find a way to get involved and give back to our local communities.
Pepsi’s new project, The Pepsi Refresh Project is “looking for people, businesses, and non-profits with ideas that will have a positive impact. Look around your community and think about how you want to change it.” Pepsi will accept up to 1,000 ideas from ANYONE each month. No idea is too big or too small.

If your idea is one of the first 1,000 submitted each month, it will be available for people to vote on, and the top vote-getters in each grant size section as shown above will each receive a grant to be able to put their idea into action!
Your ideas will fall into one of the categories below.

All you need is an idea, and Pepsi is providing the funds to make it happen.
In lieu of buying Superbowl advertising this year, Pepsi has pledged $20 million dollars for this project, and each month you have a chance to make an impact on your community. What have you got to lose? Pepsi has totally raised the bar for corporate America taking social awareness to the next level!
