You see them all the time…t-shirts that let you tell the world proudly that you are a mom.  But usually they are shaped for a woman who is made from a cardboard box and the designs on them look bathroom wallpaper or curtains from the 1950′s.

UGLY.

A new company called The Bomb Mom has made it possible for moms who want to make a statement about their role as moms but with a look and style that truly reflects the beauty of moms.

For awhile he wasn’t sure what to do with it but eventually he realized it was a clothing line… a series of statement tees for all the beautiful (inside out) women who give their lives to mothering. The Bomb Mom is clothing for moms “who got it goin’ on” and they have shirts for women, toddlers and babies too. So even the kids can flaunt your awesomeness!

The Bomb Mom recently sent me one of their shirts to check out and review.  I chose the Bling Bomb Mom style because I really loved the blue lettering, the rhinestone bomb and the fact that the sleeves looked a little longer than some of the other styles.  I prefer a longer sleeve.

Heather grey crewneck, short sleeve tee. Blue foil lettering and clear rhinestone bomb. 50% polyester 38% cotton, 12% rayon ECO shirt. Made in Dominican Republic

You will notice it fits me a little differently than the model (snort) and that is mostly (uh-huh) because I didn’t listen to Elizabeth when she said they run big. Which is fine with me, still carrying 30 pounds of extra baby weight, form fitting just is not something I am ready for anyway!

The shirt does run a little big.  The description of “generous fit” is very true.  If you want it to fit like the picture on the site you probably want to order a size smaller than your normal size.  The material will not shrink as it is only 38% cotton, but it is very soft and just the right thickness. This shirt is obviously designed for a woman, so it is not just a normal “one shape fits all” style t-shirt, which is really nice because most t-shirts seem to be designed for men.

The fabric breathes and is very comfortable.  The blue foil lettering is striking; I love the color and way it reflects the light and the rhinestone “bomb” is really cool too.  This shirt makes a statement and I love to wear it!
