The bags – an explanation

In case anyone is confused, I wanted to offer a clarification about a couple of our latest sponsors who are donating reusable bags for the virtual baby shower.

When I was faced with the task of having to wrap or gift bag all the wonderful items our sponsors have donated, I was not only not looking forward to the act of wrapping, but to the idea of all that waste afterwards. 50 gifts is a lot!

So, I began scouring the web for answers. As you will see, we have a company that specifically creates bags just for gift giving, while others create reusable bags that could be used in a number of different ways, including gift giving.

I thought it was a wonderful idea to help reduce the paper waste while providing an eco-friendly wrapping solution that my sister and the prize winner can reuse for many years to come. For baby, for themselves, for shopping, or where ever!

So, in case you were wondering what they had to do with baby showers, now you know!

Publix is pushing reusable bags big time down in Florida for grocery shopping…and a baby shower or gift giving idea… gives 2 gifts in one. That was a great idea on your part!
