Your Mom’s comment was like, the greatest comment ever.

Oh, and it’s watching the X-files that keeps us young. ;)

  2. Isn’t that the BEST feeling in the world?
    I haven’t been carded in YEARS!! Damn…
Hope the rest of your week is just as wonderful!

  3. Oh, yeah! Meee-ooow!

  4. I’m sure that made your day! I haven’t been carded in years :(

  5. Jennifer Lachman says:

I love getting carded exept when they look at my id and say. “Are you sure this isn’t your sister. You look much older than you do in this picture”
    I swear it has happened.

  6. Karen says:

Don’t feel so flattered. I hate to burst your bubble but many stores are rquiring the cashier to card everyone. I was carded in the past at Meijer. You could be 100 and they would still have to card you.
    Sorry!

    • Kim says:

Ok, as my Mom, you are not allowed to bring my delusions down to reality.

      New rule.

I’ve bought beer and wine coolers there before and never got carded. Ed doesn’t either.

      (County Market)

I was wearing a black “New York” hat and my hair was hanging out and I think my “look” was young, and so he would rather be safe than sorry.

  7. vw bug says:

Sigh… I have always looked old and never get carded. Maybe some kid will take card me when I’m 100. ;-)

  8. Charlene Kuser says:

You are so lucky,I wish they would card me.One
of the cashiers stared at me for awhile and
then decided yes shes old enough

  9. Kim says:

I should add that chronologically I am closer to 40 than 30…but I will forever be 29.

  10. Kim says:

Hahahahaha!!!! It’s always a pleasure isn’t it? I was so jazzed earlier last year when I was carded for buying smokes (I did quit *sigh*)& I was 30! It kept me in a great mood for the rest of the day!
