Teething at 2 years old!
Recently Abby began to show signs of teething again. She will be two in two weeks and honestly I thought she had all her baby teeth.
I was wrong.
I looked in there (despite her protests and sticking her tongue out at me) and she has 8 teeth on the bottom and 8 teeth on the top and apparently she should have 10 on the bottom and 10 on the top at this point.
I don’t remember Jake teething again (online I read that they get that last set of “second molars” from 20-24 months) but he must have.

So she’s cranky and shoving her hand into the back of her mouth constantly.
I think the odds she will end up sick are pretty good because she won’t keep her hands out of there and Jake and I both are getting colds.
At what age did your kids get their last set of baby teeth?
That skeleton picture is creepy.

That might be what is going on with my son. He just turned 2 and is incredibly cranking and reaches for his mouth. He doesnt have his second molars yet.
We are right there with you. Rowan just got his last 2 year molar which I thought was early since he won’t be 2 until January. Hope she finds some relief. That’s frustrating, especially when think it’s over for a while.
Oh yeah…the 2 yr molars. My kids are all weird. Both Kaydee and Matti got most of their teeth by 10 months…Kaydee got her 2 yr molars in around the same time she stopped breastfeeding at 14 months.
I’m going through teething… my youngest is 18 months. He never cuts just one tooth- so he’s grumpy and he ALWAYS gets a bought of the poo’s. Hope she’s feeling better soon and doesn’t get sick! :)
Well, how about that! Very good things to know.
wow I guess G will be getting more too!
Yep, that sounds about right for that last set of molars until they’re 6. I suggest Hyland’s teething tablets. My 2nd son loved them. All I had to do was shake the bottle and he’d open his mouth.
