He walked slowly through the hallway looking for me.

He found me sitting at the counter in the kitchen and, rubbing his eyes, mumbled something I couldn’t understand.

“What?” I asked him.

“I need help” he said, still rubbing his eyes.

I knew what this was, I could tell by his mannerisms, so I walked around the counter and asked him, “help with what?”

“I can’t find my cloud” he said.

Right.  Of course he can’t.

I escorted him back to bed…

Usually I can’t understand his mutterings at all when he sleep walks.  I can’t wait to see his reaction tomorrow when I ask him if he ever “found his cloud.”

I was yelling.

I was cheering.

I was whistling.

I was so proud!

Really?

I have no idea what my son is doing with his face…

Yeah, that was GREAT.

She chanted it the whole way home the other day…a 45 minute drive.

I think I’ll teach her to hide his toys.

But he totally gets this from his father.

He announced he wants to play golf instead of baseball.

He has an invisible friend named Ova.  Yeah.

This is him dressed as, in his own words, “a McDonald’s manager”.

He was playing “McDonald’s manager” and charging his “friends” Ova, Qua and Avony thousands of dollars for a hamburger.

He may be weird but the dude is gonna be rich!

2. My daughter needs some help in the fashion department.

3. They’re not always “up to no good” when they get quiet.

4. Being a single parent is hard, even if it’s only for two weeks.

5. Promising McDonald’s is a very effective behavior modification tool.

6. Always order a second chicken quesedilla because the two-year-old eats like a lumberjack.

7. Some food is worth the extra calories, especially when wrapped around a Nathan’s.

8. I suck at Snowboarding on the playstation 2 – as evidenced by the fact that the six-year-old beats me EVERY TIME.

9. Pepsi Max has almost twice the caffeine as regular Diet Pepsi and Pepsi has irresponsibly NOT clearly put that information on the package.

10. Florida is very, very appealing right about now.
