Jake had his first ever spelling test last week. He’s in first grade but selected his words from the second grade list. I dunno, they seem hard even for a second grade level to me…but that didn’t stop him from getting them all correct!

I never figured I’d be THIS into football. But when your kid starts tackling the guy from the other team who is carrying the ball and running more than half the length of the field to score a touchdown, you’re drawn in. I was yelling. I was cheering. I was whistling. I was so proud!
