Are 8 month olds (just turned 8 months) supposed to be standing up and trying to walk?

Both of my girls walked at 9 months, so its possible.
It can happen, but if you’re lucky, she’ll just cruise for the next couple months. My oldest was cruising by this age, but didnt actually start walking till closer to 1. However, I’ve heard of many kids walking at 8 months. Yikes! Good luck if she does.
