She adores her big brother!

It’s not the best picture because I took it from far away in a dark room, but I just love it! I’ve been “catching” them playing together lately. Abby adores Jake and I know he looks forward to the day she is older and can do puzzles and play games with him.

So, how long before they want nothing to do with each other?

Thanks Yasmine! We’re in trouble if she copies what Jake says…because he learned all the good words from Daddy! hehe

How sweet! Wait til she starts following him and his friends around! It usually gets sticky around then… ;)

How sweet is that?!?! It’s great when they play together like that. No one could make my youngest smile and laugh like her big sister!!

  4. LOL – very cute! And I’ve found that the ‘fighting’ stage comes before the ‘nothing to do with each other’ stage. We’re still in the ‘fighting’ stage… Where they fight over anything and everything. Except when they’re not. :)

  5. Priceless photo! You might ought to frame it to remind them of sweeter moments in years to come. :)

  6. What a sweet picture Kim. Hopefully it will never change :)

  7. That is so sweet. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised to see how well my two kids can get along like that. Our son is 7 and our daughter is now 15 months and I do occasionally catch them like that together.

yep you do have the play stage, then the MOM SHE WON’T STOP TOUCHING MY STUFF, then the stage where he becomes her protector…you will survive- you may eat alot of chocolate but they will be fine..yep there are more stages but I would say in a few years she will be driving him nuts, yes he will love her too no matter what but there will be wonderful stages of leave me alone, don’t touch my stuff and mom she won’t stop wearing my sweatshirts- life thats all!
    Adorable photo!
