Save on Holiday Shopping with Buxr

Holiday shopping may be frustrating, yet addicting. It is hard to keep a cool head and stick to your budget. You are always tempted to buy something what you actually don’t need.

Luckily there are web sites out there that help us save. Buxr is one of those sites. It’s a social media community for bargain hunters who share coupons and deals and discuss online shopping.

Buxr

Here’s how Buxr can help you to save:

  • Monitor latest online deals and coupons: they won’t save you a fortune but that’s a nice way to save between 10 to 25 per cent;
  • Spot hottest freebies found by web savvy shoppers;
  • Discuss shopping with the friendly and knowledgeable community via forums and comments.

Buxr works like any social media site. You can register to share deals as well as vote for and comment deals shared by other members. By upvoting and downvoting deals you help the community to filter good deals.

If you are active enough, you have a good chance to earn money. At the end of each month Buxr administrators choose “most useful” members: those who spent their time helping the community by voting for the deals. There are usually several winners who get cash prizes: between $50 and $250.

A good way to earn money while saving it (and helping others to save)? Right?

    that is so nifty :D I’ll have to check it out. I don’t think I’m going to go out for shopping this year. Amazon is my best friend. xD

      I spent over an hour over there yesterday looking around and checking out some of the deals they listed. I never shop online without a coupon code, and I love that people rate the deals so you know if it is worth your time or not.
