Sales Tax Holidays for 2010 for Back to School Shopping

I had no idea that some states have sales tax holidays to help people during the back-to-school shopping season.  Apparently each year there are a few days where you don’t have to pay sales tax on certain items that you normally would.

Pretty cool!

I’m not going to reiterate them all to you here, for the states that participate and links to their websites with more detailed information for 2010, check out:  State Sales Tax Holidays – For Back To School.

  1. We love shopping during this week even though we don’t have any kids going back to school. Any time we can save money is a wonderful thing.

  2. Chris says:

noo!! not back to school shopping already?? So soon? Too early, people, too early!

  3. Bummer! My state isn’t on here, but this was very interesting to learn about. I didn’t know this either! Thanks Kim!
