Puppies vs Babies, which do YOU think is cuter?

I’ve had puppies and I’ve had babies.

Two of each, in fact.

Therefore, I am very qualified to give my opinion on which are cuter, Puppies vs. Babies.

I had puppies before I had babies, and I have to tell you they are HARD WORK.  They potty all over, they eat things they shouldn’t and they do all sorts of mischevious things.  Babies keep you awake but at least you can diaper them and they don’t do much else besides eat, poop and sleep.  And cry.  A lot.  But puppies cry too.

Puppies can be house-trained rather quickly.  Babies take years.  YEARS!  Puppies are fairly self-sufficient but they do need training so they don’t eat your furniture, chase cars or run away.  Babies don’t have those issues.  They can’t run anywhere and by the time they can, first of all they are slow and second of all they can eventually be reasoned with.  Or bribed.  You can bribe a dog – briefly, but they have no understanding beyond that split second.

So those are some of the pros and cons of babies vs puppies.  The question is, do they come into play when determining who is cuter?

I’m not quite sure, but I know my answer:

PUPPIES ARE CUTER.

Hands down.

They are cute and soft and loveable.  Babies are slimy and smelly and sticky.
