Pumpkin guts

Yeah I wore rubber gloves.

And yes, my husband gutted them.

But I did do a lot of the carving.

Because I knew the answer to “what’s that smell?” and I refused to let it be my hands.

I think they look pretty good.

Any guess as to which one is mine?

  1. I figured your’s was the alien because we used to buy 4 pumpkins when the boys were little. Alex would pick out one for each of us that “looked” like each of us: Bill’s was always short and round, mine was tall and thin, then he’d pick littler ones for him and his brother.
Your pumpkin is too fat to represent you however… you are in great shape!!

  2. Ummm, let me guess…the alien is yours? :D

I had to stop scooping guts. It was making my hands burn.

Apparently I have a skin allergy to pumpkin guts. Who knew?

  3. They turned out great! Happy Halloween!

    Fun Pumpkin Fact:

The ‘guts’ of the Graboids, Shriekers and As. Blasters in the Tremors franchise of movies were made by putting pumpkin ‘guts’ in panty house and throwing them?

    Little known and unappreciated fact…

Happy Halloween and watch out for the Graboids…

    Great jack’o'lanterns!!!
