Abby tried Peeps for the first time today. She kept saying “eat bunny” so I gave her one. A few minutes later she came back with it, minus it’s ear and said “you eat, mommy – you eat”. I guess she prefers playing with bunnies rather than eating them.

BTW, I forgot to mention, that I LOVE your counter tops. :-)
Poor little bunny Peep….
I think Peeps are truly disgusting. Even as a kid I hated them. I’ve been told that they taste better when they’re stale. I can’t tell you from experience though. Yuck. :)
well obviously marshmallow peeps are beneath her highly developed palate, LOL!
After she took just one bite she realized that you love peeps so she wanted you to have it. Did you eat it?
You know, I didn’t eat it. I thought maybe she was just “being two” and would want HER BUNNY back so I set it on the counter.
It got kinda too hard to eat after awhile..
There is no such thing as a “too hard” peep to eat. I LOVE peeps and Annette is right, they are so much better when they are stale.
I have my last one sitting on the counter waiting for it to get hard so I can eat it when it is “just right” – it is so hard not to eat it now, I am so tempted.
.. and he looks a little sad about it, too.
I was told to save my Peeps (I’m totally with Abby..eew) and use them for S’Mores at the campfire. Okay, maybe they won’t actually get to TOUCH my graham crackers and Hershey’s but they will meet a rad, fiery demise..
I like Peeps but they just do not sound good on s’mores.
The chocolate covered peeps are really good. I like the dark chocolate ones best. I’m not so crazy about the reg. peeps. I can see how your little girl had an issue with eating hers.I agree, it must be an acquired taste or food texture preference thing.
I had no idea they had chocolate covered ones!!
LOL! My 5yo loves the Peeps but the twins don’t so much like marshmallows at all. Kinda funny. Must be an acquired taste.
My son likes them…he’s six.
It’s funny though because I don’t like other marshmallow candy…just Peeps.
