Playtex Infant Care – NEW VentAire 100% BPA-free

As much as technology and advancements have made parents lives easier, there is also an aspect of our current culture that is confusing for parents and has us facing decisions that parents even 5 years ago didn’t face. Science has advanced us to a stage where we have discovered that some of the things that were invented for the very purpose of helping us, could actually be harming us. Plastic baby bottles are one of those things.

I doubt there are many people who haven’t heard of the issues surrounding plastic bottles and a certain material called Bisphenol-A (BPA) that research has shown might be toxic to babies and that BPA leaching from baby bottles is a real human health risk. Apparently, at the beginning of 2008, over 95% of all plastic baby bottles on the market were made with BPA.

VentAireThis month, Playtex (I love you, my Diaper Genie Elite II) is launching their new line of VentAire® Advanced Bottles that are made with 100% BPA-Free material. For more information, you should go check out the press release: Playtex Infant Care to Launch New VentAire® Advanced Bottle This Fall with 100% BPA-Free Material. Also, the video below explains the benefits of the new VentAire, and it’s other great features including reducing colic and ear infections.
