couponI’m a coupon clipper.

Best of times or worst of times, with the economy and our personal budget, I think I will always be a coupon clipper.  It is in my nature to be frugal and to get the best deal that I can.

Today’s economy and job market has encouraged coupon clipping like never before, and even my local paper has a weekly column dedicated just to providing tips and pointers to maximize your couponing.  There are more websites and blogs than ever devoted to deals and coupons and in an effort to make ends meet, coupons to help save money have become a integral part of many family shopping trips.

Sam’s Club is a store that has advertised shopping savings from it’s very beginnings.  As a warehouse “club” store it was founded on the idea of offering exceptional values through bulk shopping.  Many years ago I used to shop at Sam’s club because I had a membership through my job and then through my husband, but once he retired from the Navy that membership ended.  So it has been a few years since I shopped there.  As a blogger for the Sam’s Club Sharing the Savings program, I will again have the opportunity to shop at Sam’s Club soon and experience all that Sam’s Club has to offer.

The latest tool that Sam’s Club has at their member’s disposal to help save money is a new program called eValues.  The eValues program provides targeted offers to Sam’s Club Plus Membership holders but rather than sending you the coupons on the mail, the discounts are loaded automatically onto your membership card and redeemed automatically as well.

No clipping coupons.

No forgetting to bring your coupons to the store.

No forgetting to give your coupon to the cashier.

No having your child eat the coupon before you could check out (ok, it wasn’t eaten so much as chewed on, but still – gross).

If there is a coupon available, it will automatically be applied to your purchase at checkout.

Some other great features of eValues:

  • Guaranteed a minimum of $200 in savings throughout the year on top of Sam’s Club regular savings.
  • 100% satisfaction guarantee or your entire annual membership fee will be refunded.
  • You can access your eValues savings online, at the Member Services Desk at your local store or at an eValues kiosk in your local store.
  • Customized, relevant offers based upon your preferences and the things you already buy.
  • Your eValues shopping list can be sent either through a kiosk or online right to your Blackberry, iphone or smart phone so it is right at your fingertips as you shop.

Below is a video that explains the eValues program.

If you already have a Sam’s Club Plus Membership, eValues is automatically available to you.  If you are not a Sam’s Club member, a Plus Membership (business or personal) is $100, but with $200 in savings on top of Sam’s Club already great prices and their money back guarantee you have nothing to lose.

Now let’s have some fun.
