(ENDED) Outdoor Fun with Toys & Games Online – Step2 / Little Tikes GIVEAWAY

THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED AND COMMENTS ARE CLOSED

The winner is:

#884 Tammy

It’s June!  It’s June!  I can’t believe how fast this winter and spring have gone by.   I really love summer.  The weather, the food, and all the activities that come with warm weather are such a welcome change from being cooped up inside, especially when you have kids.

But I am learning through my five year old, that having access to the outside doesn’t make kids any less likely to complain that they “have nothing to do.”  They still need toys and activities to keep them busy because I can’t take them to the park every day for hours on end.  And most moms know that the more active you can keep your kids outside, the more tired they are when they come inside.  Which is a good thing!

toysToys & Games Online is an online store that is pretty much a one-stop-shop for toys of all kinds, and especially outdoor toys.  When I browsed the site, I was amazed at how many great outdoor toys they had that I had never even seen before.  My kids currently have a Little Tikes playground (similar to that one) and at 19 months my daughter adores it and my 5 year old son can still be found playing on it once in awhile.  They also each have a power ride-on toy in addition to numerous other bikes and wagons, and an entire box full of balls and other small outdoor toys.  But there are so many other great toys that you can find at Toys & Games Online that I would love my kids to be able to play with.  Sandboxes, playhouses, swing sets, and so many more that would really allow them to expand their imaginations and keep active and entertained to make the most of their time spent outside this summer.

So, when Toys & Games Online asked me if I would like to give one of their great toys away to one of our readers, I said “No!  I want to keep on for myself!” Ok, not really, but they let me pick the perfect toy to give away and they actually allowed me to offer you a choice from a few different toys so you can choose the one that will be the best fit for your family.

But before we get to the giveaway, I want to let you know a little bit more about the great company sponsoring this giveaway.  Toys & Games Online is actually a part of CSN Stores.  CSN Stores is a network of great specialty stores that carry over 1,000,000 products in every category you can imagine.   They are a Better Business Bureau accredited business and guarantee your complete satisfaction at any of their stores.

Toys & Games Online, like all of the CSN stores, boasts a large selection of quality products, low prices, and top-notch customer service.

I really like the layout of the Toys & Games Online website.  It is easy to navigate to find the perfect toy, they have products ratings and reviews and the product descriptions are very thorough and include multiple photographs of many of the products from all different angles.  And one of my favorite all-time features when shopping online, is that they accept Paypal, in addition to other traditional payment methods.

As I mentioned, when Toys & Games Online approached me about a giveaway they let me choose three items that the winner will get to choose from, which I thought was a perfect way to make sure you get the prize that is the best fit for your family.

Little Tikes Cozy Coupe 30th Anniversary Edition Ride-On

The first item I chose because my kids do not have one but our neighbor does and Abby loves it.  I think it has something to do with the fact that it has a top on it, like a real car.

The Cozy Coupe 30th Anniversary Edition Ride-On toy from Little Tikes comes in pink for girls,  the traditional red and yellow, and also in a ride and rescue version.  The 30th Anniversary Edition Cozy Coupe has an updated look and quite literally has gotten a face lift.  With its happy face and big fun eyes, it now has a character all it’s own.

Description from the website:

The classic Cozy Coupe comes to life in this friendly-faced 30th anniversary edition. For generations – 30 years – children have been taking adventure and imagination on the road with one of the original ride-on toys – the Cozy Coupe. Now this classic kid-powered car has a whole new look!

Features:

  • Ride-on
  • New features include removable floor and handle on back for parent-controlled push rides
  • Designed with a high seat back and storage in the rear
  • Includes special features like an “ignition switch” and an open-and-close gas cap
  • Cozy rolls on rugged, durable tires, front wheels spin 360º
  • Product size: 16.5″ W x 29.5″ D x 32.5″ H

What little kid wouldn’t want to tool around on the sidewalk in one of these?  They are so cute, they are durable, and best of all, they run on “foot” power, requiring the child to use their own legs like Fred Flintstone to move it.

Little Tikes Sand & Water Fun Factory Table

The second item I picked to be included as a part of the giveaway selection is the Little Tikes Sand & Water Fun Factory Table.   I’ve never been a fan of traditional sand boxes because kids pretty much sit in them, get sand in every crevice and they just always seem to get junk mixed in with the sand because they sit on the ground.  My kids don’t have an activity table like this one, but I have always thought they were a great idea.

What I love about this table is that it has a cover so weather and critters can be kept out to keep the playing area cleaner, and it has an umbrella to keep the kids in the shade as they play, not only for their skin but to keep the table from getting to hot to the touch as well.

Description from the website:

The excitement never ends with this innovative, multi-station fun factory! Gears and gadgets, funnels and cogs make for hours of sand and water play. The drop down lids protect the sand and toys from the elements and it’s raised design helps kids stay clean and reach the fun easily. Kids will love the Sand and Water Fun Factory!

Features:

  • Multicolored
  • Includes water scoop, rake / shovel, car ramp, boat and front end loader
  • Gears and gadgets, funnels and cogs make for hours of sand and water play
  • Drop down lids protect sand and toys from the elements and animals
  • Raised design helps kids stay clean
  • Fabric sun shade canopy offers protection from sun
  • 2008 iParenting Media Awards
  • 2008 Parent’s Choice Awards
  • Ages 2 to 6

This table really seems like it has a lot of potential for providing a variety of activities all in one place and while I’m sure if we had one I’d find Abby sitting on it – or in it – I really think it would be a big hit in our house.  And again, like the Cozy Coupe, there is no charging of batteries or anything like that in order for kids to be able to use it.

Step2 Extreme Coaster Rollercoaster

Yes, you read that right.  A roller coaster for kids!  The third item I selected is the Step2 Extreme Coaster Rollercoaster.  This thing looks AWESOME.  Good luck keeping the adults from playing with it too, although the weight limit is 75lbs.

The Step2 Extreme Coaster looks like a toy that will keep kids busy for hours.  It takes the idea of a slide to the next level and I know my kids would go up and down it again and again before moving on to something else.

Description from the website:

Children that enjoy the thrills of amusement parks and rides will love the Extreme Coaster! With rugged double-wall construction and wide built-in steps for climbing up to the landing, this smooth-riding roller coaster car is made for maximum fun. Recommended for use with helmets.

Features:

  • Durable double-wall construction and stable design
  • Extreme colors and styling
  • Integrated internal stairs eliminates the need for ladders
  • Easy-entry car allows for balanced mounting and riding
  • Smooth transition track simulates a real roller coaster
  • Minimal adult assembly required
  • Bike helmets not included
  • Recommended for children ages 3 and up

The first time I saw this toy I actually thought it was a bad idea because I thought that the car had to be placed on top of the roller coaster by an adult each time.  I didn’t realize that the child pushes the little car back up to top themselves.  Brilliant!

On the manufacturer’s website, this toy has a 5 star rating from 282 reviews.  I could picture putting this toy in our front yard and watching as kids from the entire neighborhood line up to give it a try.  Kids will like it for the thrill and the fun of riding a roller coaster and I am sure parents will love it because of the exercise the kids get from using it.

I want one!

Ya gotta love that roadmaster classic wagon!

I like the Little Tikes – Endless Adventures Ride & Relax Wagon. I teach prekindergarten students with special needs and they love the wagon. They share it with their friends and have races. The bigger students will give the smaller students rides. All of this fun along with developing gross motor skills!
