My Natural Organic Plush Toys

mynaturalBoth of my kids love stuffed animals. Jake has his “guys” that sleep in special places near his pillow each night and Abby has a couple of stuffed animals that she just loves, ones that when she is tired or upset comfort her and she just has to have them. Mostly she hugs them, but she also has a tendency to sort of chew on them. I’m not sure if this is from teething or just from anxiety, but either way, they are in her mouth quite frequently.

Because of this, when I had the opportunity to check out a plush toy from miYim, it was an easy decision. We received a monkey from the My Natural line, and a Baby Ben Plush Frog from the miYim Fairytale Plush Collection.

My Natural

Both of these toys are made with 100% certified organic cotton fabric. They do not have any chemical dyes or toxins and are colored with plants and minerals. They are made with all natural ingredients that are safe for children and have a low impact on the environment.

About miYim

miYim aims to enrich the lives of today’s families by fostering the imaginations of children and celebrating the lifestyle of the eco-conscious home. miYim is more than just playthings – we aim to teach values and environmental responsibility, all while touching the hearts of children through imagination and whimsy.

Starting with organic food, the organic movement has grown from its small beginnings into a large movement fuelled by people’s desire to lead a healthier lifestyle. At miYim we are taking this idea and applying it to our most precious resource of all, our children.

My Natural

I can’t say enough about these wonderful toys. They are soft and cute and the minute Abby saw them she reached for them and began to hug them. Her My Natural Monkey has actually taken the second spot in her line-up of favorite plush animals (the first one is a bunny that she has had since she was born – it was actually Jake’s before her). I love knowing that no matter how much she chews on these toys and puts them in her mouth that they are safe for her.

If you are interested in the My Natural line of plush toys, you can actually find them at Target! I’ve seen them, in fact before Abby received her monkey she spotted them at Target one day and got mad at me when I wouldn’t let her have one. To find the other miYim plush you can use their store locator tool to find a retailer near you, or check out Amazon.com for a partial selection of their great organic plush toys.

My daughter has the same plush toy. I like this toy for her because it’s non-toxic and so soft! these toys are eco-friendly, too. When my daughter and I went out to buy this, I was about to choose the other animal but she really love to have to monkey. So, we bought the monkey and she was very happy she hug it all the time.

My son has one that he loves so much and after having it for a while and seeing that, my husband suggested I go buy some “back-ups.” Well, I waited too long. The other day beloved Monk Monk got lost. I looked everywhere for him, then I looked at severel Targets and couldn’t find them. I even checked online. If anyone can tell me where to find more of these stuffed animals, it would be great. Thanks.

Those are adorable! They look like soft, comfy velour, so much so that I wish I could hug it through the picture.

Awww you got a monkey? How cute! Aren’t those the softest?

They are soft, Cat! Abby loves her monkey. When she needs something to hug, that is one of her top choices. There is something really endearing about them too. And the size is perfect for her to take with her.
