Moving pictures and a MAJOR prize announcement

A couple of weeks ago for Wordless Wednesday I posted a “moving picture” that you can see here: Wordless Wednesday – He’s not heavy, he’s my brother…er…drumset… A couple of you had asked how I did it and I completely forgot to tell you!

It was actually an animated GIF that I made in Photoshop. I have an older version…Photoshop 7.0 and I think you can even do it in Photoshop 5.0. There are other programs you can use too, I’m sure, I just don’t know what they are!

You can make a slideshow using Photobucket to achieve a similar effect, but it won’t be the same, and Photobucket puts their logo on it. I use Photobucket slideshows in my reviews and they are a nice way to quickly show a bunch of photos without having the page take 8 years to load. They have some nice effects you can apply so long as you don’t mind their logo.

In other news, isn’t this the cutest baby ever?
Abby

How’s the weather by you?

What in the world is an HDMI splitter?

Can you tell I’m stalling?

Oh, all right….

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT:
We have 53 sponsors to date for the Virtual Baby Shower and close to $1,500 in prizes that will go to ONE WINNER. We also have some additional prizes that will be given away to separate winners throughout the next 2 months (Sept. & Oct.). We also have 1 committed “premium” sponsor so far. The prize is FANTASTIC! You will see who and what it is as soon as I get their banners, but I promise that if you have an infant, baby or toddler, you will want it! The winner will get to pick from their entire line of “hah, I’m not telling you yet” which range from $250 to $400 each.

Stay tuned for more news on that front. I seriously recommend you subscribe to our updates if you don’t already. You won’t want to miss any giveaway announcements.

    Mutha Mae,
If you find something you like or think you would like, use their contact page and ask if they are interested in a review of their product. There are a lot of great “undiscovered” shops and products out there and a blog is a great way to help them get noticed!

  8. Holy shower!! Staying posted. Not gonna miss this.

I am so impressed with all those sponsors! Good job. I can’t even get ONE sponsor. Ok, I haven’t even tried. I wouldn’t know where to begin. You should hold a class on this!!
