MomSelect recently sent me a box of goodies to check out and to share with all of you wonderful people. There were a bunch of fun things inside, including one that Abby literally stole from me.
Here’s a picture of everything that was in the box:

Here is a list of a few of my favorite items:
- A Build-A-Bear from Build-A-Bear Workshop. This furry guy is really cute and came with a Birth Certificate that we can fill out, a Build-A-Bear t-shirt of his very own and a $10 gift card to Build-A-Bear Workshop. Stay tuned for what I’m doing with that. Abby liked the bear. Just a little bit. I was planning on saving him for her birthday at the end of November but as I was holding him and looking at the birth certificate, she reached up and took him from me and started playing with him!
You can visit buildabear.com and order a personalized stuffed critter with all the accessories or visit a Build-A-Bear location and build your own. They even have an online world, Build-A-Bearville where kids can play online with their furry friends. Here is a slide show of the bear.
- A booklet about MobiStories – virtual books for kids. MobiStories are narrated digital children’s books with illustrations and music. In a day and age where everything is digital, why not make reading interactive?
The goal of MobiStories is “to improve reading in an entertaining and accessible format to improve literacy.” MobiStories are available on iPhone, iPod, PCs, DVD, MP3, Zune, iTunes, YouTube, Viddler, Revver, MySpace and Facebook!
If you would like to try MobiStories, they have offered a coupon code for What’s That Smell? readers! You can download up to $15 of MobiStories books for FREE! Use the promotion code: BSM146A. I also have my own code for $20 worth of MobiStories that I am going to give away so keep reading to find out how to enter to win.
- A notebook and pen set and an informational flyer from kajeet. Kajeet is pay-as-you-go cell phone service for kids. There are plans as low as $4.99/mo and kajeet provides parental controls that allows you to set limits for calls and texting, block calls, locate the phone using GPS (and therefore locate the child) while still providing the features kids want. Kajeet has no annual contract, and has nationwide coverage on the Sprint PCS Network.
I have a coupon code for What’s That Smell? readers to receive $10 in bonus airtime with the purchase and activation of any kajeet handset. The credit is good until it is used or the service is terminated. The coupon code is good through 2-1-09. Use code Bonus10.
- A 1-load trial size of all Free Clear detergent. I’m a sucker for freebies of things I use everyday, and in this house it always seems like I am doing laundry. On top of that, my husband and daughter are very sensitive to laundry detergent and all Free Clear is free of perfume and clear of dyes and is the number #1 detergent recommended by dermatologists and allergists and is hypoallergenic.
Visit the website for a $1 off coupon!
A couple of the other items in the preview pak were:
- Lango foreign language for kids brochure and Adventure album
- 4 HP gift cards for 10 FREE 4×6 prints at any HP Photosmart Express Station. (I’m giving these away, so keep reading)
- 2 NewBaby bandage holders. These will be great for in the car and in the diaper bag so we always have bandages on hand!
- An AuPairCare live-in childcare brochure. If you apply by Oct. 31st they will waive the application fee ($300 savings).
