MLB Mini Bites – A review

Okay, so while Kim’s posting about a $400 watch, I’ll be at the other end of the spectrum. Do you know a Major League Baseball fan? I have one in my house; for some reason Madeline has become a huge Cubs fan this summer. This devotion to the Cubs mostly entails opening the front door and yelling “Yeah Cubs!” and “Boo Cards!” to the neighbor across the street. Never mind that he’s a grown man. She’s brutal, especially when the Cubs win a game or the Cards lose.

I picked up a couple boxes of MLB Mini Bites Cubs cookies for Madeline. Besides the cute suitcase box (why do kids love stuff like this?), they’re actually very tasty. You can actually recognize most of the ingredients listed on the box. The very vanilla flavored sugar cookies are shaped in a baseball theme. Thirty teams are represented. I’m not much of a fan of the 100 calorie pack, but you get two little packs of six cookies in each box.

I think I got 2 boxes for $1 at the local Jewel. Sounds like an affordable Father’s Day gift!

This may sound strange but my Dad would actually LOVE these. His favorite gifts are food!

I brought him a bunch of $1 boxes of candy from Walgreens the other day and he was quite excited!

Oh, and he’s a HUGE Cubs fan!
