Because I really, really think I want to become a vampire.

I just finished reading the last book in the Twilight series and wow. I never expected to get as involved in them as I have. Honestly I thought the series was for kids, but they all were captivating and really fantastic stories to read. Not many things can get me so absorbed that I dream about it and I certainly haven’t read 4 long books in 2 weeks in a very long time.
I wonder if there will be any more books….
Cause it’s like a drug.

I think I am the only woman in the world who couldn’t give a crap about this series of books. I think these half nekked pasty-white children are totally unattractive and I don’t find anything interesting at all about vampire and/or warewolf love. The last vampire I was attracted to was Mick St.John on Moonlight.
Of course, this is just my opinion!
My 13 year old daughter (she was 12 at the time) BEGGED me for the first book. So I bought it for her…she never even read it and has zero interest in it (what is wrong with her?!).
I was halfway through the first book when I went out and bought the rest of them. There was no way I was going to finish one of the books and be left hanging.
I kind of wish there were more too. Though I will say that I HATED New Moon. HATED IT! lol
Maybe someone has tipped you off to this already and if so, just tune me out, but you can read the start of the fifth book on Stephanie Meyers’ site.
She’s posted it there because vowed not to write anymore books because someone betrayed her and leaked the in progress copy. I’ve never read it, she did ask that people not, but the temptation is there!
I feel the same way Kim! I had to buy them all in one fell swoop so I could read them all together and not have that 2 a.m. I finished it and need the next one issue.
I haven’t read the Twilight series, but I felt the same way about the Harry Potter books. I wanted to go to school at Hogwarts. I was actually depressed when I finished the last book.
