Why my laughter woke my daughter up at 11pm…

She was neked.

Completely.

Asleep.

In her bed.

So I laughed.

Out loud.

And she woke up.

The end.

Seriously though, Abby had some sort of virus or allergic reaction on Sunday evening. She had hives all over, her eyes were all puffy and itchy and she was miserable. We could not reach our doctor (shouldn’t his answering service have known he was on vacation?) to see if we could give her something, so she had to suffer through the itchies.  She fell asleep normally, or so we thought.

Around 11pm on Sunday we heard her making noises in her sleep, and they weren’t her usual noises, so I tip-toed in to check on her – and busted out laughing when I saw her curled up in a ball in nothing but her birthday suit.  Her pajamas and diaper were on the floor.

It’s funny right?

Not so funny was that she was covered in her own pee.

I would have laughed at the nekkedness, too.
I’ll bet the pee stopped the itching, but it sucks that you had to clean it up in the middle of the night.
