It’s a blender, no..it’s a planter….

This may be one of those “you had to be there” type stories to really feel and understand the full affect, but I’m going to share it anyway.

We’ve been having a garage sale the last three days along with our friends/neighbors across the street and a few other families in our subdivision. At one point, my husband went across the street to see how Nicole (Mrs. Kravitz) was doing at their sale when he spotted part of a blender in their garbage. He jokingly held it up and said “what’s wrong with this?” Mrs. Kravitz replied “nothing but I can’t find the rest of it.” My husband proceeded to pull out the bottom of the blender and said “you mean this part?”

I wasn’t actually there for the whole exchange but essentially my husband ended up claiming the blender for his very own and a “blender war” then ensued for the past 2 days with both of them passing it back and forth as they left it in strange places at the other one’s house.

Today, my husband and I had an idea to win the “blender war” once and for all.

So, what do you think, did we win?

Mrs. Kravitz, upon coming home and finding her lovely planter said and I quote: “it’s not over, you’re not getting it back, but it’s not over.”

Yea, I think there was a clear winner….
