All we have is a cheap, small plastic pool in our backyard but my kids don’t seem to care, they love playing in it. We actually bought the pool to bathe the dog in but I found a better use for it. Abby did have a smaller blow-up one but we need to patch it because it seems to be leaking air.
They start out playing quietly with the water.

But it doesn’t last long. Abby MUST be airborn.

And she laughs as the water splashes up and over her.

And much like “lather, rinse, repeat” she does it again.

I had to refill that pool at least twice, and even then getting her to come out of it was not easy. She’s all wet and slippery and fighting and crying to go back in the pool. Even if she is turning blue and shivering.

Looks like they had a lot of fun!!!! Excellent pictures
After a very stressful attempt at one of the “fun” looking pools from Target (I blogged about it), I ended up with a rather small kiddie pool myself and the kids couldn’t be happier.
They look they were having a lot of fun! I need to get a pool for the backyard. My son loves his water table but has no pool to play with in at home.
The funniest is when their lips are turning blue and their teeth are chattering but they’re having so much fun they don’t want to get out so they say I’m not cold.
I think Airborn Abby would dig moving the slide to end in the pool–waterslides!
We did have the slide in there for awhile but it was getting in the way of her jumping up and down.
Great pictures! That looks *so* refreshing and fun!! :D
I really miss living in a house..I miss having a back yard..being able to hook up the water hose on hot days..Mel used to play in a little pool out back too…he was around 3 then. I miss those days.
