In Loving Memory – Max

About Kim

Kim is a creative person who doesn't sit still for very long. As the mother of two, she calls herself a "recovering former working mom" and left a successful career as an Architect to stay home with her kids. This blog is a reflection of her daily life and her quest to find the answer to "what's that smell?". If blogging doesn't work out for her, she plans on auditioning to become a sports team mascot.

  1. RIP Max. It’s so hard. I’m a big lover of pets ~ we’ve had dogs and a cat. I even have a granddog Black Lab that was around before ‘Lil Moomette. The Granddog spent time on a college campus for awhile. It’s so hard, my sympathy.

  2. Kim says:

    Thank you Nicole.
Simon is happy with his tennis ball right now! He seems a little weird, mostly he’s just clingy, but I haven’t seen him moping.

  3. Kim says:

    Val,
Thanks for the kind words about Max, they definitely become like our kids!

  4. Nicole says:

I’m really sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a pet like that. He was a good boy and I felt very comfortable with him around Kaylee. He will be missed. I don’t know if this we’ll make you feel better or not but Tic Tac can come keep Simon company.

Kim, I am so sorry to learn of your loss. What a handsome dog your Max was. Some of us love our pets like children and it hurts so damned much when they’re gone. The tribute is beautiful.

  6. Kim says:

    Alyson,
Thank you….he will be missed very much! It’s still kind of surreal yet….

  7. Kim says:

    Granny w/ Hobo,
We never got Max and Hobo together to play…Max would have loved that!
