Let’s not even talk about the fact that this is my favorite shirt of all time. It is easily 10 years old, has a couple of holes in it and is shredding at the sleeves. It is a dull grey that is flattering to NO ONE. But…it says Tracy’s Karate on the back and THAT is an important part of my past (and hopefully present and future).
No matter the shirt, what managed to find itself on the front of it SHOULD NOT BE ON A SHIRT.
It should be nowhere NEAR a shirt.

I’m sure you’ve guessed by now.
I pulled Abby out of the crib after her nap this afternoon and usually I can smell a dirty diaper a mile away but today my sniffer took a vacation. Well, until I got close enough to her and the POOP STARTED SQUIRTING OUT OF HER DIAPER. Getting her out of those clothes was a nightmare. I ended up with my hand full of lovely ORANGE poop and now my fingers itch just thinking about it.
Needless to say, she got a bath and my poor shirt needs TO BE BURNED!
On a happier note (sort of), I was tucking Jake in tonight and he said, “why don’t you sit down and we can talk for a little bit?” After doing a double take and trying to figure out if I actually heard that right, he scooted over and patted the bed. So, I laid down next to him and we talked a few minutes about the book he was reading. Then he paused and said, “ok, you can go now.”
Right.

Ughhh you just brought back visuals of what we dealt with when Kaydee had rotavirus a few weeks ago. Bleck. Burn it!
Exploders. I don’t miss those days at all! But I’m glad to see that the boy knows when to end a conversation – and he’s so tactful about it!
I would totally just wash it really well and keep it. If I threw out every article of clothing that got poop on it, my daughter probably wouldn’t have very many clothes!
Um, yuck. And how nice is it that Jake decided to ask you to have a convo. That is too cute!
Why do they always have to mess up the favorite shirt? :). That happened to me at a holiday party, where I had on my favorite dress and my son had diarrhea and leaked. I say keep it, but do some heavy duty cleaning of it.
Has Jake been watching Dr. Phil? ;)
I think every Mom has experienced one of those diapers.
I think Jake is ahead of his time. Can’t wait till he is old enough to date.
Thats happened to me with a shirt i bought on my first shopping trip after having the twins. i remember the tags still on! devestating!!
I think we’ve all been there!
Oh, I have had those moments before!
