The Mom Salon is asking what we would do with a minute, in conjunction with McDonalds new program called “One Minute to Move It”.
From The Mom Salon:
If you had one minute to help make a difference in your world, what would you do?
That’s the question McDonald’s is asking kids and families as it launches “One Minute to Move It” — a global children’s well-being program designed to encourage kids to see what a difference a minute can make. It is all about inspiring kids to take one minute and make it even more meaningful. Whether skipping, dancing, coloring or singing, one minute can inspire activity for thousands more minutes to come. One Minute to Move It, which is being launched this Friday, November 7, has a boost from the spontaneous and energetic characters from the new “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa” and the new Happy Meal featuring these characters — all to empower kids to create a minute of joyful self expression.
What would I do with my minute with my kids? With Abby I would blow bubbles with her and watch her experience them for the first time. With Jake I would ask him to tell me a story because his imagination has become so vivid!
How about you?
Visit http://www.happymeal.com/ starting on Friday for suggestions and activities for your “minutes” and to keep track of all the minutes!
Head over to The Mom Salon to enter to win one of 35 “One Minute to Move It” gift packs which each includes a complete set of the new “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa” Happy Meal toys and a $20 Arch Card.

Neat idea…one minute…so many choices!
I would spend my minute chasing Evie. She loves it when I say “I’m gonna get you”. She giggles and hops away. It’s so funny.
One minute of tickles I love to hear them laugh and they love it more.
That is great!
With one minute, I would swing Izzie outside because she loves to feel the wind.
And for just a minute, I would try to Caity to sit down and show me what she’s learned this week.
Robin, sorry to disappoint, but thanks for stopping by! We haven’t had any of those moments recently, but we are bound to now since we are talking about it..
Hmm… I would probably just sit and snuggle with one of my rugrats!
Those are great ideas! I posted mine up earlier too.
Neat idea. Saw your Twitter on this. I thought it was going to be a mess a child made when you left the room for a minute –kinda fits the What That Smell” tone :)
