Ok, I admit it…I’m not a very good cook. In fact, I’m not even very good at simply heating things up either.
Let’s take frozen pizza for instance. Seems simple enough. Pre-heat oven to 425. I can do that, no problem. Heck, I even remember to check the oven for any stray items left in there (a story for another time). Pre-heat buzzer dings, place pizza on sheet, put in oven and set timer for 20 minutes. No problem, right?
Wrong!
What’s the deal with putting a cardboard backer behind a pizza that is inside a cardboard box? It gets me every time! I don’t think I’ve made a Red Baron pizza yet that I didn’t wreck because I left the cardboard on while cooking. Ugg….what a soggy mess.
As much as I’m a bad cook, I really think that the Baron is to blame here. I mean, wouldn’t logic tell you that if it’s INSIDE cardboard it doesn’t need to be ON cardboard?
Anyone?

It’s not my fault. It’s a bad design. Faulty really.

Maybe you should get the number to the local pizza place that delivers and call it a night??? LOL! This is me when it comes to baking, I can cook meals but my family doesn’t get any homemade treats, not a pretty site when I try, lol
That is hysterical….why do they put 2 cardboards to gether, makes no sense at all. I had a roomate in college who didn’t know you were supposed to even unwrap the frozen pizza from the plastic. Our apartment stunk for days!!!!!
hahahah does the left over in the oven mean from a toddler? I have to check for those as well

That’s hilarious! I always put the pizza back on them after they cook and end up cutting through the cardboard!
Thanks Heather, I’m glad someone appreciates my pizza story. I figure, if I’m going to be such a kitchen disaster, I may as well allow others to have some comic relief!
