Got pets? “The Power of Paws”

Power of PawsPower of Paws is a new website and resource sponsored by some major pet manufacturers that have teamed up with medical and veterinary partners to help make a difference in your life and the lives of your pets.

It has been proven that having pets has health benefits not only for humans but for the pets as well. They help us get active, reduce stress and add another family member to love. The “Power of Paws” is a movement that can change lives.

From the website:

Meow Mix® cat food, Kibbles ‘N Bits® dog food, Milk-Bone® dog biscuits, Pup-Peroni® dog snacks, Snausages® dog snacks and our other great brands have teamed up with health, veterinary and cause partners to bring you the Power of Paws program. What a great organization.

I saw the collie…so pretty! I don’t generally use those brands either, sometimes Milk-Bone. We shop at a local feed store and we buy the premium food for Simon, but I really thought that is was great that by ordering a free DVD they donate to what seems to be a worthy cause.

Does this qualify for the carnival? It’s tomorrow right? I always ask and you say, “I’ve got it already”, but I don’t like to assume!

I don’t use any of those brands, but clicked over to see what it’s all about, anyway… and the first thing that pops up? A Collie. A rough tri, just like my girl Tess.
