Sam’s Club Giving Made Simple VOTE! (and enter to win a $50 GC)

Last week I told you about the Sam’s Club program called Giving Made Simple where Sam’s Club is donating $4 million dollars to charity and YOU get to help decide how the money gets divided between the 8 charities Sam’s Club has selected.

For more information, check out this post:

(5/2) Sam’s Club: Giving Made Simple – what would you do with $4 million? (giveaway)

You can vote every day until May 2nd if you are a Sam’s Club member.  If you are not a Sam’s Club member, you can still help promote the Giving Made Simple campaign on Facebook and Twitter and encourage friends and family to vote.

So go pick your favorite charity and help them get the biggest share of the $4 million dollars!

Plus:

Voting and promoting will help you enter to win one of two $50 Sam’s Club gift cards (see post link above to enter) on my site but also on a number of other blogs as well.  You can use the gift card to buy a membership or to shop!

Here is a list of the other blogs participating with giveaways to reward people who vote and promote this great campaign:

By voting (and/or promoting) daily you have a ton of chances to win one of the $50 gift cards we all have up for grabs!

And:

On Friday, April 16th you have the opportunity to earn DOUBLE VOTES for your favorite charity!  On Friday, you can use Twitter to cast “votes” for your favorite charity and the 2 charities (one from each of the 2 categories) who get the most Twitter “votes” on Friday will DOUBLE the votes they receive on the Giving Made Simple site.

Sam’s Club will double the number of member votes during the Giving Made Simple campaign on April 16 and April 30 when the participating charities can encourage their fans and friends to show their support by tweeting. The organization within each of the two charity categories – Youth Education and Entrepreneurship – with the most Twitter votes on those days will double their member vote totals on those days, getting them closer to winning the top $1 million grant.

Program Rules & Terms

One vote will be defined as a Twitter update occurring between 12:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. CST on April 16 and again between 12:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. CST on April 30 that includes an @samsclub reply and incorporates the designated hashtag for one of 8 charities participating in Giving Made Simple. Only one Twitter vote will be counted per Twitter user on April 16 and April 30, including votes from each charity’s official Twitter profiles as well as votes from employees and volunteers of those organizations. Retweets of a charity’s hashtag will count as a vote per unique user.

Charity Hashtags:

  • KIVA: #Sams4Kiva
  • CFED: #Sams4CFED
  • CRF: #Sams4CRFUSA
  • ACCION: #Sams4AccionUSA
  • JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT: #Sams4JA
  • NFTE: #Sams4NFTE
  • YMCA: #Sams4YMCA
  • GIRLS INC. #Sams4GirlsInc

So make sure you are voting daily, and get on Twitter on Friday and cast your votes that way. For every Tweet and ReTweet that you do on Friday, I will give you an extra entry into the giveaway so if you Tweet 100 times, you can get 100 extra entries (only on Friday April 16)!
