Give her the hand back Goofus!

Most evenings after dinner I get a few minutes to myself to eat my Weight Watchers Smart Ones dessert. I cherish this 15 minutes or so alone when my husband has the kids and I can check my email or post here with two hands (quite a novelty, I imagine most moms understand).

Tonight as I sit here, I have heard the following wafting through the house:

Baby: “waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!”

Husband: “Give her the hand back Goofus!”

Baby: “waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!”

Husband: “Don’t be nasty!”

Boy: “hehehe”

Explanation: the “hand” is an air filled yellow hand shaped teether my daughter especially likes.
