I watched Fringe last night on my DVR. I adore my DVR because I cannot watch television on the normal schedule. Anyhow, usually I start to fall asleep 10 minutes into whatever we are watching, but not last night. I was so riveted that I stayed up until almost midnight watching the premiere of Fringe, and then I was so wired from the show I couldn’t sleep.

Is Fringe the new X-Files? I believe it could be, at least in the sense of cult classic that pushes the envelope. It was smart, mysterious, unique, and kept me wanting to know the answer. The actors are fantastic and their chemistry is AWESOME! The characters are very interesting, the story is intriguing, and I am already hooked.
The X-Files will forever remain a personal favorite, but Fringe could turn out to share a space in our entertainment center next to my complete collection of X-Files seasons on DVD. I’m still wired from it!

Oh.. I love Fringe too. Joshua is so good. I love him since Dawson’s Creek. (ok.. I’m a dork) It will rise up to be one of my favorite. I have a long list of shows I tivo’d but there are only a handful that I’m looking forward to watching and can’t wait till the next day and Fringe is one of them.
I watched in and liked it. I was maybe expecting a little more because of the hype. To me it is like a combination of Lost and the xfiles. Lost is my all time favorite show. I am willing to add Fringe to my tv schedule. I am going to have to drop a couple of shows but with some of the stuff I watch that will not be a problem. I still plan to keep my 2 favorites, Hero’s and Lost. Oh, and Grey’s Anatomy.
Hmmmm just might have to break down and give it a try!;)
I didn’t watch it now I am regretting it I will have to check it out!!
Pam, you can go watch the premiere here: http://www.fox.com/fod/play.php?sh=fringe
I’m glad I saw this… I’ll look for it now! Thanks! :D
