Free Paid Surveys – Synovate Global Opinion Panels

We are in the midst of our weekly How-To Series about how to participate in FREE PAID SURVEYS. There have been 2 detailed articles written to date which you can find on our Free Paid Survey How-To Series page.

In the meantime, as we are giving you these detailed articles, I am going to start highlighting some of my favorite survey sites so that you don’t have to wait until the end of the series to get started. An entire list of legitimate free paid survey sites can be found on the right side of our site, but these posts will provide additional info to help you decide which sites are right for you.

The first free paid survey site we are highlighting is the Synovate Global Opinion Panels. Synovate has been around for a long time and I have been a member of their panel for years. Previously, they only offered sweepstakes entries for completed surveys and they would send out small thank you gifts if you consistently participated.

Now, Synovate offers “points” for EVERY survey taken. Even if you don’t qualify for a survey they give you some points, usually 50. The points can then be traded in for a check once you reach 5000 points which equals a $5 check. Every 50 points is worth 5 cents and I’ve taken surveys that give you anywhere from 100 points for a very short one, all the way up to 5500 points for a longer one.

Most of the surveys I receive are addressed to me and not my other household members which shows that they really are targeting Moms.

The redemption process is fairly simple, you simply select the award amount and they mail you a check. It does take a few weeks or more to receive the checks, but they do send them. This a very legitimate survey company and a good one to start with if you are unfamilar with the process.

Keep in mind that in the coming weeks we will have additional articles to help simplify your survey taking experience and other articles to help maximize the number of surveys you receive.

Also, let me know if you sign up, I’m curious to see how many of you haven’t heard of Synovate before!

I am a disabled man and I would like to know why survey’s are directed to mostly women, some men are single fathers, we do shop, and we do have opinions. I would like to have the opportunity to make money at home, and would like to see companies not be so narrowed minded to think that only women shop, or raise families.

I just discovered your site and so appreciate your series on paid suveys. I’m a working Mom and looking for ways to generate income and share my insights. Thank you.

    Tracy,

None of the survey companies I list will charge you anything and you should NEVER pay or sign up with a credit card or have to participate in trial offers to get paid. If you use http://www.surveypolice.com or http://www.freepaidsurveys.net you should find the good legit ones as well.

    Good luck!

  5. Interesting post, I find it surprising how people are skeptical about paid surveys. It is only market research companies trying to collect data like you said. I actually spend around 10 minutes a day filling out paid surveys, and make around $120 a month, I know its not that much, but for the time it takes me its actually pretty good.

Thanks for checking out the series Jenn! I’ve been doing paid surveys for about 5 years or so and more recently got in to blogging. You CAN make money doing it but not everyone does. I hope you can build your blog to the point where it does what you want.

You have a great theme…about a Mom living in Paradise, I would definitely play off that. I would love to SEE and hear how different life is in Hawaii. Show us how to escape and live vicariously through you!

    Thanks for visiting and commenting!

Hey, this is really neat! I am a working Mom & have been blogging for a couple months now and I keep hearing about these Blogger Moms who are able to generate income for themselves by blogging and other ways (like these surveys!) I’d love to be able to do something like that but I don’t know where to start! My family has told me that I’m a pretty good writer-I know what you’re thinking “They’re FAMILY, of course they’d say that” But we aren’t really that kind of family! So I’d love to explore new areas! Thanks for taking time to inform us all, and if you have any other advice…I’m all ears! Thanks so much!

    Mannequin,
Thanks for letting me know you are following the series!
It takes time to build up to where you are getting a lot of surveys. I’m not sure, but I think that the more you participate the more surveys you eventually get, at least it seems like that to me.
    Hang in there!

I’m following you, too! Thanks for today’s article. I am trying so hard and gettin nowhere. I will now go back and reread the other 2 articles.
