I’m kinda sad about Corey Haim
Even though the 80′s were not my favorite decade (can you say white sweatpants and Wham shirts), there are certain things that bring back the nostalgia and the defining memories of being a pre-teen and teenager.
Corey Haim was a cute kid and had an innocence about him, or at least portrayed innocence very well through the characters he played.
Lucas and The Lost Boys (and The Goonies, but that was the other Corey) are movies I remember watching over and over again on HBO.
He was about the same age as me, and it is really sad to hear that he died the way he did.

I loved both Corey’s as a teen and had their pics on my wall. So sad to hear of his passing.
It is sad the way he died. So many celebrities are dying these days. It’s so tragic.
There was something about that guy that kept him young..he didn’t look almost 40 like us!
I’m with Trisha on this one… he wasted his life and money. He was a cute kid, but didn’t use his money for good and didn’t use the help provided him. Hollywood is such a bad place for young people, it is so rare that you find people like Ron Howard and Jodie Foster.
I’m sad too – but not surprised. I loved him in Lost Boys and when I saw him again on TV a couple of years ago I was shocked.

Another young actor dead…unbelievable! My hubs just made me watch Lost Boys and Stand by Me a few weeks ago because I missed out on the 2 Coreys craze in the 80s. so sad!

You guys are killing me with this guy, why I have never heard of him? I googled images and nothing strikes me as even remotely familiar. My only guess is I was still watching Care Bears when this guy was acting. None the less, it’s still sad to see anyone go.
