THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED AND ENTRIES ARE CLOSED, PLEASE CHECK OUT ONE OF OUR OTHER GREAT GIVEAWAYS OR SUBSCRIBE TO RECEIVE NOTICE OF FUTURE GIVEAWAYS

Cookies by DesignYesterday I received a wonderful package.

In fact, it was the one I wrote about here: Waiting for Cookies. A cookie bouquet by Cookies by Design.

Well it finally arrived and Jake and I were very excited!

Photo of it just out of the box:

Cookies by Design Cookie Bouquet

You would not believe how good it smelled when I opened the box. They smelled freshly baked and I’m sure I gained weight just sniffing them!

Photo as I unwrapped it:

They couldn’t have done a better job wrapping and packing it, not a single cookie was broken or out of place, plus it wasn’t a nightmare to unwrap either.

The cookie bouquet in all it’s glory:

What a great alternative to flowers! Flowers die, cookies merely get eaten so you get to enjoy them twice: once when you look at them and a second time when you eat them!

And a close-up just to make you hungry:

You will notice that each cookie is individually wrapped in plastic and sealed (except where the stick to make the bouquet pokes through) which is great for both freshness and ungermliness (I know that is not a word but the right word just evaded me so I gave up).

This will give you an idea of how big each cookie is. That is a normal CD case underneath.

Each cookie is big enough to share so my 7 cookie basket really was like having 14 average sized cookies!

This poor guy is about to lose his life and look how he has no idea….

Jake ate almost the whole thing in one sitting! He left the poor guy with nothing but the top of his head, he ate clean up above the er, um, neck.

I tried one of the palm tree cookies. I’m now diabetic…hehe just kidding. The cookies smelled good and fresh as I mentioned earlier and they tasted that way too. The cookie itself is your average sugar cookie type but is not overly sweet. It was “just right.” At first, the icing wasn’t too sweet either, but as I continued to eat, the icing did get to be a little bit too sweet. Since I have a sweet tooth, however, I’m not complaining!

Overall the cookies were fresh and tasty and the bouquet itself was very attractive. If you are looking for a great alternative to sending flowers, a cookie bouquet by Cookies by Design deserves a look!

Now for the part you’ve been waiting for (or the part that you quickly scrolled down to without reading my review…shame, shame):
