What They Want for Christmas – Elmo Tickle Hands

ticklehands

Have you seen the new Fisher Price Elmo Tickle Hands toy?  I admit that when I first saw it, I didn’t understand it.  I saw them online while browsing around looking for Christmas and birthday gift ideas for my kids and sort of passed it by because it simply looked like a big glove.

Here is the manufacturer’s description:

Tickle & dance just like Elmo! Slip on these furry gloves and watch as they shake & giggle while you tickle! These hilarious hands also feature fun phrases & silly sounds! To get down & dance just like Elmo does, follow along as he teaches you the moves to his new song! You can also learn the dance moves to “The Tickle Hand Groove” with the included instructional DVD, featuring Elmo! Requires 2AA batteries.

Recently I stumbled across a video for the Elmo Tickle Hands and it really explains them much better!

The manufacturer’s recommended age on this toy is 18 months to 4 years but I can tell you right now that my almost six year old son was watching the video intently and would probably play with them.  Plus it is suitable for boys or girls and even if you only had one set, and two kids, they could each wear one glove.

I also like that this toy seems to get the kids up and moving around and exercising and they won’t even realize it! My kids love Elmo and they love dancing so I think they would really enjoy this toy.

Elmo Tickle Hands is a fun gift idea to consider for both boys or girls ages 18 months to 4 years, and maybe beyond.

I saw these and of course, I am thinking of them! We have sooo many Elmo things in this house, I think 80 percent of the toy box is “red”
