What They Want for Christmas – Construction “Tools” for Eating Fun from Flying Peas

Have you ever watched a toddler try and eat with utensils?  Yeah, it ain’t pretty.  Not only do they struggle and struggle to barely get any food on their fork, they MAKE A MESS.  But they need to learn, both for your sanity (and no more cold food) and their independence.

utensils

A company called Flying Peas has the solution to this problem in the form of their Construction “Tools” for Eating Fun.

Flying Peas is a weboutique that specializes in hip, high-quality and unique goodies for kids and babies.   Flying Peas has products for kids from birth to age 4 and up and they even have a few things for moms and dads too.  They have toys, blankets, bedding, feeding accessories and so much more.

Eating has never been so fun for little ones! This dinner set comes with a bulldozer pusher, fork lift fork, and front loader spoon. Designed with function and play value in mind, these “tools” have textured, easy grip handles and detailing that allows little hands to hold on tight. Each is rugged, light weight, and dishwasher safe – not to mention great for extending productive eating time while attempting to eat out! Materials are FDA approved and NO PAINTS are used in this product.

Dimensions of the fork and the spoon are 5 3/4 inches long by one inch wide. The pusher is 4 1/4 inches long and one inch wide.

The utensils come in yellow or pink and there is even a construction plate with compartments to complete the set.

The Construction Tools for Eating Fun from Flying Peas would make a fun stocking stuffer for your toddler learning to feed them self, and for your older child who simply needs some encouragement to finish all their veggies.  My kids are both fascinated by using fun utensils and these are like no other.  Very unique and they are sure to be a hit!

You can purchase a set of Construction Tools for Eating Fun from FlyingPeas.com in yellow or in pink.  And What’s That Smell? readers can get 10% off your purchase with the coupon code wts09 at checkout.

These are SO cute, I bet my grandson would love them… But there is NO way you’d get ME to eat peas, even with these adorable utensils.
