(ENDED) “Change the Tone” with Crocs – giveaway

The word “tone” has many different meanings.

Music has tone.

Our voices have tone.

Our writing has tone.

Even our shoes have tone – or at least the ability to tone.

Tone is a part of our lives and Crocs has a new line of shoes that are designed to initiate the key muscles to provide toning benefits as you walk.

Before we get to telling you about the shoes though, let’s talk about TONE some more.  Did you know it only takes a few minor modifications to completely change the tone of something?

Below is a little something I wrote that has what I would call a negative tone:

Dresses are over-rated

Wearing dresses makes me feel self-conscious.  I have “chubby” knees and prefer the world not know about it.  Dresses really exacerbate how high maintenance being a woman really is.  You have to shave your legs.  You have to sit properly or else the whole world will see what color underwear you have on.  I think a man invented dresses for that very reason.  And what about the breeze?  It’s chilly here a lot, who wants cold air rushing in underneath?  Also, shopping for a dress is such a chore.  They are either made for teenagers or old ladies.  And those that are the right style have fabric and patterns that look like a tablecloth.

Jeans are the way to go.

And check out how different it is after Trisha got a hold of it and changed a few key words, hence “changing the tone”:

CHANGE THE TONE

Dress to Impress

Dresses flatter nearly every shape and size, and isn’t that what we are continuously trying to do? We are trying to look our best and by looking our best, we feel our best. In reality, dresses can up your confidence, making you feel sexy, feminine, and contain the added bonus of showcasing to your significant other exactly why they married you. The great thing about dresses is that regardless of the weather, you can wear them! Cropped sweaters and leggings make any dress from summer to winter, thereby expanding your wardrobe and getting more ‘bang for your buck’.  And you dont need to be rich to find amazing styles. With the choices of department stores, discount stores, online shopping, and even trading with a friend, there will always be the right fit, style, and color for you out there.

Oh, and one more thing…leave the carpenter jeans at home and do something your husband cant do…”Dress” up.
