This is a solid company.
You generally should make at least $50-$150 for about 20 minutes a day for 5 days.
That is the norm for these types of things.

20/20 Research, a nationally-recognized market research firm, is looking for first-time moms ages 25-49.

20/20 Research is conducting an online discussion board the week of July 14th for first-time moms who are either pregnant or have a baby less than 1 year old.

The group will discuss various aspects of being a first-time mom. Participating in the study will consist of logging on to a secure website at your convenience to answer questions and participate in the group “discussion”.

If you qualify to participate in the study, you will be paid for your time and participation.

Free Paid Surveys - GlobalTestMarket

No Comments yet, please be the first! »

We are in the midst of our weekly How-To Series about how to participate in FREE PAID SURVEYS. There have been other detailed articles written so far which you can find on our Free Paid Survey How-To Series page.

The GlobalTestMarket Consumer Panel has been around a long time and are one of the largest and most reputable I’ve come across. It should be one of the first ones you join in your foray into free paid surveys.

Global Test Market

How to join?

  • Register for FREE
  • Complete profile surveys to qualify for more opportunities
  • Receive surveys by email
  • Complete online surveys and receive “Marketpoints” you can redeem for cash

How often do they send surveys?

I get at least a few surveys a week, sometimes I get more than one a day. I qualify for maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of them and even if you do not qualify I believe you get 5 points for trying.

As always, your experience may differ based upon your demographics but overall I believe them to be quite consistent with sending surveys.

What do I get for taking the surveys?

GlobalTestMarket pays in what they call “marketpoints” and the average survey is from 5-50 points. 5 points if you don’t qualify and 50 if you do. Although some surveys are worth much more. Each point is worth .5 cents, so a 50 point survey gets you $2.50. The 50 point surveys are not really that long and are well worth the $2.50 and you get .25 cents even if you don’t qualify. You can redeem your points once you reach 1,000, which ends up being $50. It does take a few weeks or more to get your check once you redeem your points but it will come and I’ve had no problems cashing their checks.

Synopsis

GlobalTestMarket is a worldwide survey company that is legitimate and consistently sends surveys and payouts. In 2007 alone they awarded over $7,000,000 to their panelists. I recommend them highly and have not had a single problem with GlobalTestMarket in the few years I have been a member. My Mom is also a member and she was shocked to learn she had accrued enough points to cash out for $50 just the other day.

Definitely don’t miss out on your opportunity to sign up for GlobalTestMarket.

We are in the midst of our weekly How-To Series about how to participate in FREE PAID SURVEYS. There have been other detailed articles written so far which you can find on our Free Paid Survey How-To Series page.

BzzAgent: Word of Mouth Marketing
BzzAgent is not your typical free paid survey site. You do not simply take a survey, submit it and receive points. In many ways, BzzAgent is better, a lot better, but you have to be willing to participate.

What is BzzAgent?
BzzAgent is “the leading word-of-mouth media network.”

What is word-of-mouth (WOM)?
Pretty much what it sounds like, consumers spreading the word about products or services (good, bad or indifferent) by “mouth” which could actually take on other forms such as blogs, reviews, etc.

Free Paid Surveys - how and where do I find them?

This article is the third in our series of in-depth discussions regarding free paid surveys.

If you missed any of the previous articles, you can access them on our Free Paid Survey Series How-To Page.

We have also begun highlighting the different legitimate survey companies. The first panel discussed is Synovate. You can learn more by checking out the post: Free Paid Surveys - Synovate Global Opinion Panels

WHERE NOT TO LOOK FOR FREE PAID SURVEYS

  • Search Engines
In general, if you type “Free Paid Surveys” into a search engine the first few thousand pages are filled with sites that will lie and mislead you. It is very difficult and time consuming to wade through all the thousands of sites to find the legitimate ones, especially when you don’t have to because others have done it for you.

Adobe Usability Panel - earn $150

Adobe Youth Panel

adobe

Adobe, maker of Photoshop and Flash, is looking for young adults 18-29 to participate in a three-month private advisory panel for a new consumer product currently in development.

As a panel member, not only will you get the inside scoop and sneak peeks, you will get to influence and help us build an amazing product that is being made especially for you and your peers. Who knows? You may even be recognized or featured when the final product is released! You will also be able to connect with other panel members like yourself who are in the local area or across the country.

Some ways you will be asked to participate: Expressing your opinions on product features and marketing campaigns, using the product to do an activity, etc. (For most of the activities, you can complete them without leaving the house.)

Time commitment: About 1-2 hours a month for three months from July thru September (Most of the activities will take less than an hour.)

As a token of appreciation, active panel members will receive a gift of $150 for their participation at the end of the three-month period. You may also have the possibility to receive a few smaller prizes along the way!

For questions, please contact us at usability@adobe.com

I read that it is for college students and that it is a long survey. Sounds worth it though!

Free Paid Surveys - Synovate Global Opinion Panels

We are in the midst of our weekly How-To Series about how to participate in FREE PAID SURVEYS. There have been 2 detailed articles written to date which you can find on our Free Paid Survey How-To Series page.

In the meantime, as we are giving you these detailed articles, I am going to start highlighting some of my favorite survey sites so that you don’t have to wait until the end of the series to get started. An entire list of legitimate free paid survey sites can be found on the right side of our site, but these posts will provide additional info to help you decide which sites are right for you.

The first free paid survey site we are highlighting is the Synovate Global Opinion Panels. Synovate has been around for a long time and I have been a member of their panel for years. Previously, they only offered sweepstakes entries for completed surveys and they would send out small thank you gifts if you consistently participated.

Now, Synovate offers “points” for EVERY survey taken. Even if you don’t qualify for a survey they give you some points, usually 50. The points can then be traded in for a check once you reach 5000 points which equals a $5 check. Every 50 points is worth 5 cents and I’ve taken surveys that give you anywhere from 100 points for a very short one, all the way up to 5500 points for a longer one.

Most of the surveys I receive are addressed to me and not my other household members which shows that they really are targeting Moms.

The redemption process is fairly simple, you simply select the award amount and they mail you a check. It does take a few weeks or more to receive the checks, but they do send them. This a very legitimate survey company and a good one to start with if you are unfamilar with the process.

Keep in mind that in the coming weeks we will have additional articles to help simplify your survey taking experience and other articles to help maximize the number of surveys you receive.

Subscribe to our email updates so you don’t miss anything!

Have any questions? Go ahead and leave a comment and I’ll answer it as best I can.

Also, let me know if you sign up, I’m curious to see how many of you haven’t heard of Synovate before!

Cooking Appliance Product Testers Needed

No Comments yet, please be the first! »

stoveMarketReader Pro, a consumer marketing research company, is looking for product tester to test a major cooking appliance. MarketReader Pro conducts in-home consumer studies.

From the site:

Selected participants will use the cooking appliances in their home for three to eight months and will be asked to provide feedback through online surveys and interviews. Participants will, of course, be paid for their time and opinions. New cooking appliance product testing will include using state-of-the-art cooktops, ovens, and ranges in your own home. Some studies may also include testing and preparing a provided set of recipes using the test appliance.

Take the survey to see if you qualify.

I read somewhere that the payment will be at least $475 for the testing.

Free Paid Surveys - safe to share personal info?

This article is the second in our series of in-depth discussions regarding free paid surveys.

If you missed the first article, you might want to go back and read Free Paid Surveys - are they legit? before reading this article.

Any time you do anything online that involves revealing personal information you need to be smart about to whom and how you give it. In general, most paid survey sites are going to ask you for your name, address, birthday, and occasionally your phone number. They will also ask some demographic information such as your marital status, education level, profession, number of children, and maybe more, depending upon the type of panel you are applying for.

Join the General Mills Advisory Panel

cerealI just recently…actually today, discovered the General Mills Advisory Panel. I’ve heard you can participate in surveys and product tests and they give you points to trade in for cash or gift certificates. Hurry, though, I think the sign up is limited. Most of the major companies are pretty generous in their paid research, so don’t miss out!

Free Paid Surveys - are they legit?

free paid surveys consumer panels research studiesWhether you call them free paid surveys, consumer panels or paid research studies you CAN make money taking online surveys. This is the first post in a series of how-to’s that will describe the ins and outs of how to make money by participating in paid research studies, surveys, product tests, focus groups and more. Stay tuned each week as we go further and further in depth on this subject in order to first, participate smartly and safely and second, to make some extra money by voicing your opinion.

Most major companies employ marketing firms to solicit consumer opinions. I can tell you first-hand that everyone from KFC to Pampers and Kraft to HP value consumer input so much that they are willing to pay to get it. The problem is that they do it discreetly. You cannot go to their websites and sign up for their testing panels (actually there are a few that have their own, but generally it is not the same thing and is a topic for another post), you must sign up through the marketing firms who actually design, set-up and administer the surveys.
