Lil Cubby carries unique handcrafted baby items made by a mother and daughter team. They have onesies, t-shirts, bibs and more that are adorable and very unique. A gift from Lil Cubby would make a fantastic baby shower gift because their items are handmade, fun and not like anything you can buy anywhere else. The designs are bright and colorful and playful, and any new mom or mom-to-be would just love getting a onesie or bib from Lil Cubby!

Lil Cubby products are handmade with care and love. From the website:

We are currently working out of two different states to provide you with unique handcrafted baby items. Mary Ayres is the designer responsible for everything you see on our site. She has sold thousands of her original designs to numerous national craft, sewing, and quilting magazines. The inspiration for the name “Lil Cubby” came from someone very special to us. “Cubby” was the nickname his father gave him when he was a child.

Lil CubbyLil Cubby has generously donated 2 winter monkey onesies in the the winners choice of boy or girl and long or short sleeves, one of which my sister will receive for her shower, the other is included as part of the GRAND PRIZE GIVEAWAY! Lil Cubby has also donated a personalized onesie or t-shirt for one of our upcoming weekly giveaways. The winter monkey onesie is adorable and I couldn’t stop looking at it. They also sent along a matching hat and I can’t wait to give this to my sister and hear her “oooh” and “aaah” like I did when I opened it.

Thank you Lil Cubby for being a sponsor of our Virtual Baby Shower! Please visit Lil Cubby and check out all of their great onesies, t-shirts and other items. They have so many wonderful designs, you are sure to find one you love!

Please note that we have not started to take entries for the grand prize. We are currently announcing all the prizes. We will begin taking entries on October 1st.

  • Search Engines
In general, if you type “Free Paid Surveys” into a search engine the first few thousand pages are filled with sites that will lie and mislead you. It is very difficult and time consuming to wade through all the thousands of sites to find the legitimate ones, especially when you don’t have to because others have done it for you.

Stay tuned each week as we go further and further in depth on this subject in order to first, participate smartly and safely and second, to make some extra money by voicing your opinion.

I can tell you first-hand that everyone from KFC to Pampers and Kraft to HP value consumer input so much that they are willing to pay to get it. The problem is that they do it discreetly. You cannot go to their websites and sign up for their testing panels (actually there are a few that have their own, but generally it is not the same thing and is a topic for another post), you must sign up through the marketing firms who actually design, set-up and administer the surveys.
