Here is the info from the post on Momdot calling for donations:

TOTAL: $130 Pledged so far
Trying to raise: $400 to make it work!! Email me!

There are so many bloggers that need help getting to BlogHer. The costs are high with hotel, plane, and tickets. We would like to help out in some way.

We are offering up 1 month worth of advertising on MomDot.com for $20 for 20 advertisers. We will scholarship out the money to (2) deserving bloggers in incriminates of $200 a piece.

We are asking for you to look at your advertising budget and see if you can sponsor 1 ad for 1 month to assist in the fund. MomDot hosts a sponsorship board in our forum and I am well aware of many bloggers situations, needs, budgets, and their reasons of wanting to go and I have picked two deserving bloggers if we can make this work out for them. (I have not told those bloggers in case we don’t raise the money). But now its up to you.

I can give you 1001 reasons why this is something you should consider doing, but the main one is that we should all support each other and even the smallest amount can make the biggest difference for someone deserving.

I will kick in the first $20 from our blog. Now I need 19 more advertisers.

Please email me at Trisha@MomDot.com with the email title “Sponsor for BlogHer”.

$20 for a months worth of advertising on a site that receives like 50,000 visitors a month is probably worth 3 times that amount or more!

If you want to help but can’t swing the $20, any amount you donate will still be used and will earn you 10 extra entries into our giveaways for every dollar you donate. So email Trisha at the address above for more info. As always, leave separate comments for your extra entries!
